  • A Great Sounding Preamp!
    I finished construction of both my SC-1 mk500 kits. I decided to build one with the transformer and one without. They both sound GREAT and I think I'm going to spend the afternoon experimenting. he unit with the transformer has a nice thick, but not exaggerated, sound quality.
