Wonderful silky sound...
Public post on GearSlutz.com Product Review: I just want to say I finally got my SC1 properly assembled. Man this thing is hot!! I have a friend who has a high-end preamp that also is quite a nice pre. I did a comparison and there wasn't too much difference except that the SC1 had a much fuller sound. There was no sibilance yet it was very clean. It has a wonderfully silky sound, the lows are not boomy the mids are warm and the highs as afore mentioned are very precise without fatiguing the listener. It also is very airy on vocals as well. Big ups to the guys at Five Fish. My friend after hearing the mic pres said that he will purchase four of the pres in a single rack. So you are doing something right. - afrindian| < Prev | Next > |
