    I bought your sc1 mk2 preamps months ago. Have only opened this to set up and assemble it......amazing wont describe the sound quality, my friend...its actually awesome sounding preamp...I am more than impressed ..I have a range of new and old preamps also have many emulation preamps...but none was sweet as this pre.   • Nice Sounding Pre!

    You make a damn nice sounding pre. In fact, you make at least 2. After a couple sessions with the X-12 and X-72 I've decided that I need a pair of each. With that in mind, could I repeat my last order of an x-12 and an x-72? Then all I have to do is decide if I fill the last 2 slots of my Lunchbox with PEQ-503s or MX5s.  - Andrew M, Canada

  • Very impressed, sounds fantastic!
    I opted for a second SC-1mk500 hand-built by FiveFish Studios and had a first chance to test it today. I tested the SC-1mk500 on my voice with my Pearlman and my SM7 and I have to say I'm very impressed. Your pre sounds fantastic especially the SM7 really sounds like a condenser with it. You can hear the transformer (at least this is what I believe, I don't have the transformerless version to compare) but it's color is really great and makes the SC-1mk500 more exciting on my voice. I think it's sound is (close to) perfect. I also think i like it better than my other pres... Just wanted to say thanks for that! - Istvan, Germany
