Your pres are Killer!

I bought an x12 about a month ago and i've finally gotten to play around with it a little bit and i have to say that it's killer on my snare with a Sennheiser e604. I'm actually selling my other preamp and i'm thinking of picking up some more of your units. - Roy H, Canada

    My first impression of the PEQ-503s (with DOA and Xformer) is that they are very well built. Pro. The EQs do impart a slight coloration, in a good way. The low end is beefy and the air band is very nice. I'm using them for subtle boosting on the main stereo bus. The air band is best I've heard so far in my travels! - posted on Gearslutz

  • Pleasant to the ears..
    The Five Fish Sc-1mk2 with the trafo option is a definite sleeper.  Price wise, it's a no-brainer.  What I found most shocking was the SC-1  (even without the transformer) was more pleasant to my ears than the other preamp.
