Woohoo!!!!
I did one minor change on this PCB design, and that is I made it a little wider (maybe by 3/32") to make more room, and move the mounting holes towards the outside edge. That way, the push-button switch caps would not interfere with the mounting post.
But then I remember my VU-1 PCB is meant to go on top of the IOModule and now the holes are not perfectly aligned. But good news, using the screwed standoff connectors, there is enough leeway in the holes to attach the VU-1 PCB to the new IO-Module PCB. I'll post a pic when I can.
I placed an order for the very pricey input and output transformers... so I'm awaiting on those... probably by the end of the month, I can start selling a limited number of IO-Modules.
IO-Module Features:
Input Transformer
Output Transformer
Active DI using JFET buffered input, with true balanced output
Active DI has +6dB boost because of the conversion to true balanced output
Output of Active DI also fed to the input transformer for more flavor
Polarity Reverse Switch
-20dB pad Switch
Mic/Instrument select switch
Input RFI protection
